“Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.”
Welcome to SoulfireBliss Coaching and Wellness! I’m Stephanie Larson, a certified Catalyst Life Coach through JRNI, a wellness company based in Los Angeles, California and founded by The Angry Therapist John Kim and CEO Noelle Cordeaux. I’m also a Reiki Master Teacher certified in the Usui System of Natural Healing. Health and wellness have always been a prominent theme in my life and through life coaching and Reiki I’m able to connect with others and support them through their own wellness journeys.
I believe everyone possesses the natural and divine right to empower themselves by investing in their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Period. No ifs, ands or buts. Coaching with me is one of those opportunities. I also believe we are entirely capable of discovering our own personal path of freedom. Life can be hard, we’ve all been there, but I’ve put a solid amount of effort toward learning how to welcome change with an open heart and this is how I lead in my coaching practice.
I offer a strengths-based approach rooted in Positive Psychology with a mix of empowerment and soul.
My love of travel, humanity, and all things outdoors have always been my driving force behind conquering the perpetual state of transition that is life. I first caught the travel bug when I studied abroad in New Zealand my junior year of college. I visited three countries in six months and I was hooked! After I returned back the United States I finished studying Anthropology and Criminal Justice at University of New Hampshire all the while knowing as soon as I completed my degree my focus would immediately shift toward doing whatever I had to do to be able to experience some of these amazing cultures I had been studying for the past four years. Upon graduation so began my journey into the wonderful world of Hospitality!
Food and Beverage was my thing on and off for about a decade! I loved serving people and hearing their stories. I can honestly say that many of my “unofficial” coaching skills were gained during my time in the Food and Beverage industry. Us humans are an interesting bunch. I worked in my home town in Connecticut, Boston, Washington, and Alaska. Oh Alaska. I found myself in the tiny little town of Seward, Alaska one summer and that place has never left my heart, so much so that I decided to move up to The Last Frontier to live on a more permanent basis in October of 2020.
All of this experience also helped fund my burning desire to experience different parts of the world. In 2008 I found myself in Arusha, Tanzania for three months doing HIV/AIDS Education and Outreach and back to East Africa again in 2019 with another volunteer trip in Kenya. In 2010 I visited Krabi, Thailand where I was a community volunteer for 5 weeks. I’ve driven across the country 4 times and have driven the Alcan through Canada a few times over again!
I worked as a Program Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at New England’s largest HIV/AIDS organization for a few years. Most recently I spent some time as a Recruiter, and I’ve interviewed thousands of people and coached hundreds through the hiring process. I fell in love with humanity. I realized I felt most alive when I was able to help people engage with a larger collective. Whether it’s a program, community, experience or a fun night out on the town enjoying delicious food and drink I thoroughly enjoy connecting myself and others to a greater good.
This journey of mine has taken me through battles with self-doubt, paralyzing confusion, and an all too familiar relationship with the phrase “You are your own worst enemy.” I have finally allowed myself to be guided by my saving graces; optimism, kindness, and searching for beauty in uncommon places, and I’ve become inspired to support those who are in pursuit of what sets their soul on fire.
